Miller Union sits on Brady Avenue in Atlanta's Home Park, founded by chef Steven Satterfield and general manager Neal McCarthy around a farm-to-table approach to Southern cooking. The kitchen builds its menu from regional growers, shifting with the seasons rather than holding to a fixed lineup.
Diners return for duck, grouper, field peas, and fried okra, along with a green salad that shows up in recurring mentions, all paired with a wine list built to stand alongside the food.
Satterfield won the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southeast in 2017, following finalist nods in the category for several years running. The restaurant's wine program has drawn its own string of James Beard recognition as a finalist and semifinalist across multiple years, and its pastry program was a Beard finalist in 2022. More recently, Miller Union has been named to the Michelin Guide's Selected list in both 2024 and 2025, included in the Eater 38, named to StarChefs' 2023 Atlanta Rising Stars class, and picked as one of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's best restaurants of 2025.
