The Spot
Cana is built as a boteco — the casual Brazilian bar-and-kitchen format where drinking and eating happen at the same pace, elbow to elbow, without pretense. The bar runs on cachaça, with caipirinhas made from fresh-pressed cane juice rather than shortcuts, alongside a rotating list of fruit-forward variations.

The food is meant to be ordered for the table rather than the individual: coxinha and pastel to start, picanha off the grill served with farofa, and a moqueca that the kitchen makes its own way rather than a traditional one. Dishes keep coming rather than arriving all at once, and the room is set up for sharing and passing plates around.

Music is part of the identity. Wednesdays bring live bossa nova guitar, while Fridays and Saturdays shift into DJ sets built around Brazilian vinyl starting later in the night. Regulars have made it a repeat stop, drawn as much by the live music and bar-forward energy as by the food itself, and the restaurant has developed a reputation for consistent execution of Brazilian dishes alongside its drinks program.
