The Spot
Pancita is a Mexican restaurant in Seattle's Ravenna neighborhood, run by chef Janet Becerra alongside co-owner Kate Ramsey. The kitchen nixtamalizes and grinds its own masa daily, with tortillas pressed to order and fresh masa worked throughout the menu. Ingredients come from local farms alongside Mexican staples.

Kate Ramsey curates the beverage program, centered on Mexican wines and spirits and cocktails, with a handful of bottles from Washington and Oregon rounding out the list.

Janet Becerra has been named a James Beard Foundation semifinalist for Best Chef: Northwest Pacific in both 2025 and 2026, following a 2024 finalist nod for Emerging Chef.
