The Spot
Nom House runs on a build-your-own format: choose a base — rice, salad, vermicelli, banh mi, or bao bun bacos — then a protein (grilled pork, chicken, top sirloin, pork belly, or tofu), followed by toppings like pickled carrot, cucumber, fried garlic and shallot, and sauces including the house Nom Nom cilantro aioli.

For those who'd rather not build from scratch, the menu has a couple of set combinations: the Pork Duo pairs grilled pork and pork belly with a fried egg and pickled vegetables, while the Nom Combo runs on grilled top sirloin and chicken. The downtown location also does a Steak and Egg Sandwich version of the banh mi, along with a mini banh mi and side salad special.

Regulars point to the customizable bowls, quick counter service, and prices that stay on the affordable side of fast casual, along with fresh ingredients and flavorful meat — though vegetarian options run thin. Nom House operates a second location in Issaquah.
