The Spot
Mia Cafe & Wine Bar opened in 2024 around a simple pairing: a café that does brunch and pasta by day, and a wine bar that comes alive by night. The menu moves between Italian comfort food and American diner staples — mac and cheese under a toasted breadcrumb crust, chicken Toscana with garlic mash and grilled asparagus, shrimp scampi over fettuccine, tomato basil bruschetta — alongside classics like pancakes and cinnamon french toast. Calamari and crepes have become standout dishes among regulars.

The wine program centers on two house blends made under the Mia label, Mi Casa and Su Casa, both built from Yakima Valley grapes, backed by a rotating cellar of small Washington producers poured by the glass or bottle. The kitchen runs open behind an eight-seat bar, putting the cooking on view for anyone at the counter.

Friday and Saturday evenings bring a small live jazz trio into the dining room, turning the same space that handles weekday brunch into a quieter, candle-lit wine bar after dark.
