Fifty Vara occupies a multi-level space in the Outer Sunset that previously housed Sunset Reservoir Brewing, now reworked into a neighborhood restaurant, bar, and brewery from chef Brian Reccow. The menu runs on small plates and California comfort food built around seasonal, local ingredients, with dishes like flatbreads, a burger, seasonal toasts, and calamari meant to pair with the house beers and cocktails.
The brewery side keeps its own rotating beer list alongside the kitchen, and the restaurant also runs a weekend brunch service.
