Angie's Pizza is a neighborhood pizzeria in the Mission built around counter service and a tight menu of thin-crust pies. The dough is organic, made with a sourdough starter and a blend that includes fresh-milled heirloom whole grain flour from Capay Mills in the Bay Area. Pizzas run from a straightforward Margherita and Pepperoni to Broccoli Rabe and Maitake Mushrooms, with San Marzano tomatoes as the base. Small plates include wood-roasted meatballs in vodka sauce, and the kitchen also turns out house-made ice cream and sundaes.
The room leans into a retro, basement-lounge feel — wood paneling, mushroom lamps, a vinyl collection, and geometric tile work along the bar — giving the space a lived-in, low-lit character that's become part of its identity in the neighborhood.
