Sardina's has operated out of the same Bay Park storefront since 1970, when Sicilian immigrants Antonino and Pitrina Sardina opened the restaurant. Their grandson Salvatore Brunetto and the Brunetto family have run it since 1986, keeping it a family operation for more than five decades.
The menu runs through Sicilian-Italian staples — calzones, chicken parmigiana, linguine with seafood, and pizza show up regularly in what regulars order. The chicken parmigiana in particular gets repeat mentions from longtime customers who come back for the same dish visit after visit.
Beyond the dining room, Sardina's hosts private parties and events, with a patio available for larger gatherings alongside its regular table service.
