Stina is a scratch kitchen serving Greek-leaning Mediterranean cuisine from Chef Bobby Saritsoglou, a 20-year restaurant industry veteran who opened the restaurant in 2019 in West Passyunk, South Philadelphia. Every dish, dip, pita, and pasta is made in-house. The name comes from Christina, Bobby's wife and a local philanthropist and community organizer, who also curated the vintage finds that fill the dining room.
The menu runs through taverna-style Pikilia, pides, slow-cooked octopus, Manti lamb dumplings, chicken shawarma, Moroccan-style kebabs, and spanakopita, alongside pizza. The chocolate tahini cake has become a favorite among regulars. Portions are generous and plated with care, served in a small, cozy dining room.
Service carries a personal touch, with the owner known for engaging directly with guests. Stina donates a portion of monthly sales to local non-profit organizations, and The Infatuation scored it 8.2 out of 10.
