The Spot
Five Points Pizza East makes its dough from scratch daily, ages it in-house, and hand-tosses it before baking each pie to order on 2-inch bricks in gas-fired deck ovens. The result is a New York-style crust with the crispy edge and foldable slice that regulars talk about as much as anything else on the menu.

Whole pies range from a plain cheese to loaded specialty builds — pepperoni-and-mushroom classics, a no-tomato-sauce Bianca, a habanero cream sauce pie with bacon, a vodka sauce pie with prosciutto, and a vegan option, among others. Salads round out the menu, from a classic Caesar to a spinach-and-gorgonzola version with walnuts and dried cranberries.

The garlic knots — hand-cut dough tossed in olive oil and garlic, topped with basil and pecorino romano — have become a signature order in their own right, mentioned by regulars and first-timers alike. The East Nashville location has built a reputation as an everyday neighborhood staple rather than an occasional destination, even with parking around the block known to be tight.
