Ray Ray's Tacos sits in the middle of St. Helena's Main Street, surrounded by Napa Valley's tasting rooms and galleries. Chef-owner Rachel Williams — known as Ray Ray — trained at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone and worked on special projects at The Restaurant at Meadowood and The Charter Oak before launching this pop-up in 2019.
The menu blends Tex-Mex flavors Williams developed while living in Texas with the Southern cooking of her North Carolina childhood. Breakfast tacos are served all day alongside shredded brisket in flour tortillas, scratch-made salsas, and queso. The space is built for groups, with community tables and sidewalk seating, and the shop also shows up at the St. Helena Farmers Market with taco kits and catering for local events.
Regulars keep coming back for the signature tacos, and generous portions and inventive flavors have made this a repeat destination on Main Street.
