The Spot
The Kenwood Restaurant occupies a 75-seat room in the Kenwood neighborhood, with an open kitchen and a cozy-yet-upscale feel that keeps regulars coming back. The menu changes with the seasons and leans on housemade pasta and locally sourced ingredients, with approachable dishes as the throughline.

Chef Joel DeBilzan, who grew up in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, got his start as a sous chef at The Kenwood's former sister restaurant, In Season, before heading to Seattle in 2015 to train under Ethan Stowell. He became head chef of Stowell's Tavolata Belltown in 2016, then returned to Minnesota in 2019 to take over as head chef at The Kenwood, purchasing the restaurant in 2021.

Weekend brunch has become its own draw, with pancakes and mimosas pulling in a steady crowd. The restaurant has also built a reputation as a go-to for celebrations and special occasions, with service and an intimate, cozy setting cited consistently by regulars.
