Asher's Bar & Grill occupies the ground level of the Beach Club Residences in Calhoun Isles, near Lake Bde Maka Ska. The restaurant takes its name from Great Uncle Asher, who by the restaurant's own account worked on the original 1928 building and was never paid — and made sure the owner regretted it.
