The Spot
Drake's Hollywood operates in Montrose as part of a two-city group with a sister location in Dallas. The dining room leans into steakhouse signifiers — red leather, wood paneling, black-and-white photography — layered with caricature portraits of celebrities on the walls, giving the space more of a stage-set feel than a neighborhood haunt.

A dress code is posted at the host stand and enforced on entry. Among the food, a plate of fries topped with ranch dressing and cheese sauce has become the restaurant's most-ordered dish.

Regulars describe the service and atmosphere as suited to special occasions and celebrations more than casual dining, with strong marks for hospitality on big nights out. Alongside that, there's a recurring sense that portions run small relative to price, and that service can lean into upselling at the table.
