The Spot
Marisol operates as the restaurant and bar of the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, with chef Jason Hammel leading the kitchen. The dining room is built around an immersive art environment by artist Chris Ofili, giving the space a distinct backdrop uncommon for a museum restaurant.

The space works on more than one register: a casual stop for coffee, a full-service option for dinner and drinks with table service and a full bar, and a private dining room that seats up to 40 for events. Marisol is open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, anchoring it as a Streeterville dining option for both museum visitors and diners coming specifically for the food.

Hammel was named a finalist for the James Beard Foundation's Rising Star Chef of the Year in 2018.
