Eggman brings a New York bodega sensibility to Zilker, centered on the Eggman Roll — a kaiser roll baked exclusively for the shop, meant to stand in for the soft, sturdy roll under a proper NYC bodega sandwich.
The menu is a short list of namesake sandwiches: the Bodega Classic (bacon, egg, and cheese), the Queens Boulevard (sausage, egg, and cheese), the Bronx Bomber (steak, egg, and cheese), and The Big Mess, a guest favorite loaded with bacon, sausage, and triple cheese. Each comes finished with one of Eggman's scratch-made sauces, several of them ketchup-based, built to land sweet, tangy, spicy, or savory.
