Sweet Auburn BBQ comes from siblings Howard and Anita Hsu, who built the menu as a nod to their Asian heritage and Southern upbringing. Traditional barbecue gets an Asian twist throughout — pimento cheese wontons and coconut lemongrass ribs sit alongside brisket, baked beans, mac and cheese, and brussels sprouts.
