The restaurant has drawn attention from multiple directions: Michelin selected it for both the 2024 and 2025 guides, The Infatuation scored it 9.5/10, and Atlanta Journal-Constitution named it among the city's best in 2025.

Georgia Boy
Georgia Boy hides in plain sight in the back of Southern Belle, no sign on the door, eight seats, a handful of time slots a night. That scarcity could easily curdle into pretension. It doesn't. The tasting menu arrives with real formality — multiple utensils, steak knives with their own little stories — but the room stays loose. This is a place that wants you having fun as much as it wants you impressed, and it pulls off both at once.
That balance is the whole achievement. Plenty of tasting menus perform seriousness at the expense of pleasure. Georgia Boy treats the ceremony as part of the entertainment rather than a wall between you and the food, and the cooking holds up its end without leaning on the theater to distract from it.
The Michelin guide has selected it in back-to-back years, and it's landed on Atlanta's own best-of lists alongside national recognition. None of that explains the appeal so much as confirm what's obvious once you're in one of those eight seats: small, deliberate, and genuinely fun, in a category that too often forgets fun is allowed.
