The Spot
Sotto Sotto has held its spot in Inman Park for over 15 years, part of Riccardo Ullio's small group of Atlanta Italian restaurants that also includes Fritti and Escorpion. Ullio trained in prestigious Italian kitchens around Atlanta and spent time traveling through Italy studying regional cooking before opening his own places.

The menu draws on centuries-old Italian dishes, most notably tortelli di Michelangelo — a 15th-century ravioli stuffed with veal, chicken, and pork in a butter-and-sage sauce. Risotto al basilico, made with carnaroli rice, marinated heirloom tomatoes, and summer basil, is another recurring order, and reviewers frequently mention it alongside the duck and Caesar salad.

The restaurant sits on North Highland Avenue in a space that's become known for its patio, a draw for regulars in a neighborhood built around outdoor dining.
