Eight Mexican spots clear our bar. One reaches Delicious, the rest are stacked with Michelin nods.
Valle in Oceanside sits alone at the top, the only Delicious in the group. Below it, six Damn Good spots carry four Michelin Selected badges and two Bib Gourmands, from Tijuana's Carmelita Molino y Cocina down to a dollar-sign taco counter in the Gaslamp Quarter. Las Cuatro Milpas and Fish Guts prove the cheap end holds up just as well. This is a deep list before it's a flashy one.
