Fore Street carries a James Beard Winner from 2004, and Central Provisions backs it up with a 2015 Beard Finalist nod, but neither has cracked our top tiers. What Old Port offers instead is range — Scales for seafood, Franciska for Argentinian, Oun Lido's for Cambodian, Bread & Friends for something cheap and simple. Six for six at Damn Good is a solid floor for a neighborhood this size.
