The Spot
Three Whistles operates as a community-driven third place in Brightwood — somewhere to eat, drink, work, and gather in one open, light-filled room. Mornings run on craft espresso and house-made pastries, midday brings salads and sandwiches, and evenings shift toward pasta, pizza, small plates, and freshly baked breads meant for sharing, alongside cocktails, beer, and wine.

The space also functions as a true coworking setup, with designated daytime work areas, phone booths, and a conference room available to members, plus full food and beverage service on top of the usual coffee-shop offerings.

Regulars describe it as a neighborhood find — friendly, accommodating staff, a beautiful bright room, and coffee worth returning for, tucked into a corner of Sixteenth Street Heights that doesn't get much attention.
