Willi's Wine Bar has been a fixture of Sonoma County dining since 2002, when it first opened inside a roadhouse building dating to 1886. The 2017 Tubbs wildfire destroyed that original space, and the restaurant returned in 2019 at the Town & Country Center, carrying its iron-forged sign along to the new address.
The restaurant is owned by Mark and Terri Stark, who describe themselves as early movers in the small-plates dining format. The menu draws on global flavors, with dishes like Moroccan-style barbecued lamb chops, ahi tuna tartare, curried crab tacos, duck confit with creamy polenta, and butterscotch crème brûlée showing up as regular favorites among guests. Everything is built to pair with a wine list centered on local producers, backed by a full cocktail bar.
Seating includes a heated patio alongside the main dining room and bar, giving the restaurant year-round outdoor space in addition to its indoor tables.
