Salt & Stone sits along Highway 12 in Kenwood, styled as Sonoma Valley's gathering place — part steakhouse, part seafood grill, part oyster bar, with craft cocktails and a curated wine list. Dining happens either overlooking a koi pond outdoors or in a cozy indoor room, both built for the vineyard setting around it.
The menu runs from raw oysters and steak tartare to a seafood stew loaded with prawns, clams, mussels, scallop, and calamari, alongside a filet mignon and a double cut pork chop. Truffle mac and cheese and a classic French onion soup round out the appetizers, which regulars point to as a particular strength.
Owner Todd Lake has continued the legacy of the property, which also hosts private events and weddings on a wine room and event lawn overlooking the Mayacamas. Sonoma Magazine named Salt & Stone one of the city's best new restaurants in 2025.
