Valette was built by two brothers around a hometown dream: a restaurant in Healdsburg that could act as a canvas for local farmers, winemakers, and artisans. Much of the produce comes from an estate farm located just 100 yards from the dining room, feeding a French-American menu that runs from charcuterie and caviar service through composed entrées like Mt. Lassen steelhead trout mi cuit, Liberty Farms duck breast with peach tamarind gastrique, and a Prime New York strip loin finished with bone marrow and sauce bordelaise.
Diners who'd rather hand over the reins can order Chef Valette's 'Trust Me' tasting menu, a minimum of five courses priced per course. Coffee is locally roasted by The Flying Goat, and the wine program draws on Sonoma County alongside the restaurant's own Valette label.
The restaurant has built a reputation for exceptional service and a striking interior, and regulars treat it as a special-occasion destination. Sonoma Magazine named Valette to its Best of 2025 list, and Michelin selected it for the 2026 guide.
