The Spot
La Fontana Siciliana has been running in Belltown for almost 30 years, set inside a historic downtown Seattle building that turned 100 in 2023. The name comes from a courtyard fountain on the property, a piece of the building's history that's now part of the restaurant's identity.

The kitchen draws on ingredients from local distributors, importers, and nearby Pike Place Market to build a menu inspired by Sicily. Fettuccine ai Funghi is the best seller, alongside Linguine Nere al Salmone; bruschetta, veal, and panna cotta also turn up often in what regulars order. The wine list runs through Sicilian and Italian bottles alongside Washington State selections.

The restaurant stayed open through the pandemic and has since brought on new partners, updated its wine list, and added new dishes. It's built a following as an anniversary and date-night spot, with regulars pointing to its family-run feel and attentive service.
