Ungrafted is a neighborhood restaurant and wine bar in Dogpatch built around a 12-seat bar, serving full lunch and dinner menus alongside a bottle list that runs dozens of pages deep. The wine program leans into France while reaching across the rest of the world, pulling in everything from familiar classics to more obscure bottlings, and every server on staff is a sommelier able to talk through maceration times or the traits of a given new-world red.
The wine program is led by Rebecca Fineman, MS, who passed her Master Sommelier exam in 2017. Beyond the regular menu, Ungrafted runs recurring events for guests looking to go deeper into wine, including blind tastings and focused looks at high-elevation and volcanic bottlings, and the retail shelves let guests take a bottle home on the way out. The room itself keeps things casual and industrial, in keeping with the Dogpatch setting around it.
