Tribute Pizza works a wider range than most pizzerias bother with, and it works all of it well. The core is thin, crispy wood-fired pies labeled Neo-Neapolitan, but the menu also runs sheet pan pizzas and New York-style, including a Classic Combo Supreme that plays the Costco food court favorite completely straight and makes it genuinely good. The shareables hold their own against the pizza, which is rarer than it should be. Oak-roasted vegetables and a meat and cheese board built on housemade pickles and preserves show a kitchen thinking past dough.

The room helps the case. A former North Park post office turned into something airy and open, with a view into the kitchen and a patio warmed enough to use. It flexes from solo counter seat to first date to a table of eight without feeling wrong in any of those roles.
