Tân Tân Café & Delicatessen has been a fixture in Central Beaverton for more than two decades, built around a menu of Vietnamese sandwiches, pho, and rice plates. The house specialty banh mi — Vietnamese ham, lean pork roll, fried pork, and head cheese, layered with liver pâté, homemade mayonnaise, and pickled vegetables on French bread — anchors a sandwich list that also includes Chinese BBQ pork and other pork-based versions. The kitchen makes its own delicatessen hams and pâté in house.
Beyond sandwiches, the menu runs through pho, rice plates like the Vietnamese yellow curry and fish-sauce-glazed fried chicken wings, and special noodle soups including a stir-fried knife-cut rice noodle dish made with locally sourced noodles. Bubble tea is brewed fresh in house.
In 2017, the restaurant launched its own bottled line of Vietnamese sauces — peanut sauce, hoisin, a vegan fish sauce, and a hot chili sauce — based on family recipes, now sold in area grocery stores including New Seasons, Uwajimaya, and H-Mart. Portland Monthly has included Tân Tân among its featured local restaurants.
