The Spot
The Love is a neighborhood restaurant in Rittenhouse Square built around seasonal American cooking, served across brunch, lunch, dinner, and dessert menus. The rooms are cozy, the bar inviting, and the overall feel leans lively and relaxed rather than formal.

The menu moves through Southern-leaning comfort food with occasional Asian-influenced dishes: whole grain cast-iron Parker House rolls with chive butter and crispy fried green tomatoes with creole spiced ranch open things up, while mains include buttermilk fried chicken over corn grits (the Lovebird), handmade ricotta ravioli in corn sauté and basil sauce, rigatoni with braised short rib, and a salmon ponzu bowl with sticky rice and bok choy. Lunch adds a short rib burger, a Nashville hot chicken sandwich called Take Me Away, and shrimp and grits made with local grits and Gulf shrimp.

The kitchen was named a StarChefs Rising Star in Philadelphia in 2019, and The Infatuation gave the restaurant a 7.5/10.
