The Spot
Meril is chef Emeril Lagasse's Contemporary American restaurant in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, named after his daughter. The menu pulls in global influences from Lagasse's travels and personal tastes, landing in a lineup built for sharing: flatbreads (Margherita, pepperoni, and a sausage-and-piquillo "Wise Guy"), deviled eggs with smoked trout roe, chicken and andouille gumbo, fried turkey necks, sweet and sour chicken wings, and Gulf yellowfin tuna bundles with truffle ponzu.

Weekends bring a separate brunch menu that rotates dishes like barbecued shrimp over a crispy grit cake and a bananas foster waffle.

Meril was named a Best of 2025 pick by NOLA.com's Where NOLA Eats guide.
