Our Take

Tâm Tâm started as a pop-up supper club, and the restaurant it became never shook that energy loose. Long communal tables, string lights, floor-to-ceiling windows facing Downtown — it still feels like a dinner party you got lucky enough to be invited to, right down to the hope that someone you know walks by and clocks you mid-sip of a spiked frozen Vietnamese coffee.

The menu takes its cue from quán nhậu, the Vietnamese drink-and-eat spots built for grazing over hours, and that framework is why the food works as well as it does. Grilled shrimp carried over from the pop-up days anchors a lineup that keeps getting sharper rather than coasting on its own origin story. Nothing on the table reads like a translation of Vietnamese food for a Miami crowd — it reads like its own thing, and nothing else in the city is doing quite this.

A Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition in 2026 confirms what the room already knew: this isn't just a good time, it's genuinely excellent cooking wearing a party as camouflage. Go for the scene. Stay for the shrimp.

The Spot
Tâm Tâm began as a pop-up Vietnamese supper club before settling into a permanent home in Downtown Miami. The restaurant operates as a bar with food service, built around the concept of quán nhậu — the drinking-food spots found throughout Vietnam where eating and drinking happen together rather than in sequence.

The room keeps the pop-up's original energy: string lights, long communal tables, and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the street. Grilled shrimp has carried over from the supper-club days, and spiked frozen Vietnamese coffee is part of the drink lineup.

Michelin awarded Tâm Tâm a Bib Gourmand in its 2026 guide.
