Phuc Yea serves shareable plates built from family-rooted recipes, drawing on Aniece Meinhold's Vietnamese heritage and Cesar Zapata's Third Coast culinary background to land somewhere between Vietnamese and Latin cooking — Zapata's own version of Viet-Cajun cuisine. Meinhold also runs the bar program, where hand-crafted cocktails riff on classics with a Southeast Asian slant.
The room in MiMo leans into its own atmosphere: dark, loud in the right way, soundtracked by '90s hip-hop and street-cool music. It's a late-night spot as much as a dinner one, with the energy to carry a burlesque dancer appearing tableside on a Saturday.
Michelin awarded Phuc Yea a Bib Gourmand in its 2026 guide.
