The Spot
Ichigoh Ramen Lounge takes its name from ichigo ichie, the Japanese phrase for one moment, one opportunity, and applies that idea to the bowl in front of you. Broths, chashu, and ajitsuke tamago eggs are all made from scratch in house, and the noodles are imported from Sapporo, Japan, then aged in traditional cedar boxes for five to seven days before service.

The restaurant sits on Commerce Street in Old East Dallas, where it has built a following as a cozy, low-key neighborhood spot — the kind of place locals point to as a go-to for authentic ramen.
