The Spot
Vito & Nick's has been making thin-crust pizza in Ashburn for over a century, family owned and run through generations. The pie is cut tavern-style into squares with a cracker-thin crust that splits opinion — some call it the platonic ideal of Chicago thin crust, others find it inconsistent depending on the night. Beyond pizza, the kitchen also serves garlic bread, pasta, and beef dishes in an old-school dining room.

The restaurant has drawn national television attention over the years, including appearances on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and WTTW's Check, Please! with Catherine De Orio. The Infatuation scored it 8.3, and Time Out Chicago named it among the city's best in 2025.
