Robert's Pizza & Dough Company sits along the Ogden Slip in Streeterville, where a patio looks out over the water. Founders Robert Garvey and Dana Hokin built the restaurant around a thin-crust dough recipe Garvey spent twenty years refining, baked in a brick oven and served as pies meant to move from a soft center to a chewy middle to a crunchy heel.
The menu extends past pizza into salads, calamari, and dishes like fennel sausage and duck that turn up alongside the pies on tables here, plus a craft cocktail program and a bar built for that riverfront view.
