The Spot
Located across from The Pinch Hotel, Lowland serves simple, modern comfort food with a focus on Lowcountry ingredients. Executive Chef Matt Dion and his team run the kitchen alongside a worldly wine list and a curated cocktail program.

The building offers several distinct settings under one menu: the tavern, with its copper bar and original wood-burning fireplace, an intimate parlour room, and an upstairs dining room decorated with a hand-painted mural. Across the alley, The Quinte — a storied 19th-century hangout — extends the property for larger parties.

Regulars gravitate toward the bar seating, the celery salad, and the handmade pasta, with the cocktail program building its own following. Michelin selected Lowland for its 2025 guide.
