The Spot
Talulla is a small, family-run restaurant set inside a pink building in Cambridge's Huron Village, run by husband and wife Conor Dennehy and Danielle Ayer. The room is built for conversation rather than volume — a quieter dinner option in a neighborhood that doesn't always offer one.

The kitchen works from an à la carte menu of starters, pasta, mains, and desserts, alongside a separate tasting menu built around dishes like squash tartare, duck sausage, venison, and matsutake cannelloni. On the à la carte side, pasta runs from tagliatelle with ricotta, mushroom, and Parmigiano Reggiano to mafaldine with oxtail and scallion salsa verde, while mains include braised short rib with red cabbage, miso, and celeriac, and farm chicken with local squash, greens, and fennel salad. Roasted brussels sprouts with persimmon chips, housemade sourdough with a chive-forward compound butter, and a crispy petite chicken with root vegetable puree have become regulars' favorites.

Sourcing runs through direct relationships with the farms and producers behind the ingredients, with a stated focus on local, seasonally inspired cooking — Verrill Farms kale among the names that show up on the menu.
