The Spot
Siti occupies a buzzy, brisk dining room in East Austin, built around a Southeast Asian menu that doesn't try to replicate a hawker stall. Satay skewers and babi guling sit alongside oysters on the half shell and cocktails dressed for a night out, with the kitchen pulling inspiration from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines — treating regional dishes as homages rather than carbon copies.

The nasi lemak is a good example of that approach: the coconut rice spread arrives topped with a fried egg and lighter on anchovies, peanuts, and sambal than a traditional version, reworked for a Texas audience rather than aiming for strict authenticity.

Siti was selected in the Michelin Guide's 2025 edition.
