Mighty Fine has been serving burgers in Austin since 2007, growing from a single spot to about half a dozen locations across the metro area, all under the Tc4 & Co. Hospitality group. The menu stays consistent location to location: burgers, chicken tenders, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, fries, and shakes.
The signature Classic Texas Burger runs a half-pound, using 100% Creekstone Farms Angus beef that's ground on-site and hand-formed, with a patty that's notably thick through the center and tapers at the edges — bigger and heartier than a typical fast-food burger. Tomatoes and onions are hand-cut in-house rather than pre-sliced.
The dining rooms lean casual and family-friendly, in the same checkerboard-table, come-as-you-are vein as other Austin burger chains from the same original ownership lineage. Austin Food Magazine has named Mighty Fine among the city's best in its annual awards.
