The Spot
Jacoby's sits on the banks of the Colorado River in East Austin's Govalle neighborhood, built on a vertically integrated model: the beef served here comes from Jacoby Family Ranch in Melvin, Texas, owned by the same family that runs the restaurant.

The menu runs through Southern staples — rotating Jacoby Brand steaks, family-style sides like smoked cheddar grits, manchego tater tots, and three cheese mac & cheese. Brunch is its own draw, with fried chicken and waffles, biscuits with sausage gravy, pimento cheese grits, and pecan sticky buns.

The dining room and a covered, heated patio look out over the river, and the space also books private dinners and events. An attached Mercantile shop sells vintage finds and locally made goods alongside the restaurant.

Jacoby's was named to A Taste of Koko's 2025 best-of list for Austin.
