The bar program centers on an amaro-focused cocktail list led by beverage director Matt Watkins, alongside the volcanic wine selection. In the kitchen, Kyle Campisi serves as chef de cuisine and Albert Sanjapov as sous chef.
The room is dark and quiet, with curved booths, black brick walls, and dim lighting — a contrast to the activity of Decatur Square outside. Bar seating is open to walk-ins, while a nine-course tasting menu runs by reservation at the back bar, with dishes built for drama: one course sends jelly-like bluefin tuna "bone marrow" out in an actual tuna vertebra. Regulars have noted the knowledgeable service and intimate, cozy feel of the space.
Fawn Wine & Amaro Bar was selected in the 2025 Michelin Guide, and both Atlanta Magazine and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution named it among the city's best restaurants of 2025.
