Tommy's Chophouse is an a la carte steakhouse opening in Ybor City, led by Kenneth Emery, founder of Charleston's Burwell's. The restaurant is named in honor of the late Tampa architect and designer Thomas Lamb.
The menu runs through wet-aged Filet Mignon, Prime NY Strip, and Prime Ribeye, alongside a dry-aged bone-in ribeye and a Signature Wagyu section featuring SRF Picanha and SRF Hanger Steak. Starters lean into Gulf Coast sourcing, including Key West Pink Shrimp and oysters, with Gulf seafood supplied through Versaggi Shrimp Co. Beyond steak, the dinner menu includes Florida Red Snapper Veracruz, a dry-aged pork chop, and Tornedoes Rossini.
The room is positioned as a departure from the traditionally formal, dark-paneled chophouse, aiming instead for a brighter, more social dining room within one of Tampa's historic neighborhoods.
