The Spot
OLIVIA is a modern Italian restaurant in Palma Ceia, part of chef Chris Ponte's family-owned Ponte Group alongside sister spots like On Swann and Ponte Tampa. The name honors the family's youngest child, and the restaurant pairs traditional trattoria cooking with a chef-driven menu spanning northern and southern Italian styles.

Ponte trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris before opening his first restaurant, Cafe Ponte, and now runs OLIVIA with his family. Head chef Benjamin Clark leads the kitchen day to day. Diners can watch the team hand-make pizza dough, fresh mozzarella, and pasta in an open dough room, and a sommelier is on-site to guide guests through the American and Italian wine list housed in a temperature-controlled wine wall.

The menu draws regulars toward burrata, chicken milanese, branzino, and wood-fired pizzas, with tiramisu and espresso martinis as common closers. Gluten-free options are available, and portions run generous.

Michelin has named OLIVIA a Selected restaurant every year from 2022 through 2026.
