Our Take
Jacks London Grill takes its name from the Union Jack, not from a founder named Jack — the kitchen is actually run by chef-owner Peter, who came to the area from the London area and built a small, casual corner pub around British classics. The menu covers the standards: fish and chips, scotch eggs, shepherd's pie, and a seafood pie with shrimp and white fish in a cream sauce, alongside a house-made sourdough bread used across the menu, including on the kids' grilled cheese.

The space is unpretentious — a small structure with an outdoor patio, soccer on the screens, and a menu built for regulars who keep coming back for the fish and chips in particular. Service has developed a reputation for being attentive and quick, and the room leans toward the kind of neighborhood spot people drive across town for.
