Yanni's has been serving Greenwood/Phinney Ridge since 1984, occupying the space once known as Lakeside Cafe. It's family owned and operated, with chef Peter Avgoustiou also running the catering side for weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
The menu sticks to Greek staples: chicken with lemon potatoes, beef souvlaki, pikilia dips, and lamb shank youvetsi among them. The kitchen works with imported Greek ingredients alongside local, seasonal product, and cooks mostly with olive oil.
