The Spot
Slim Goody takes its name from an in-house legend: a lanky multi-sport athlete out of Pasadena whose basketball career reportedly unraveled over sports betting before he wound up on Old Ballard Avenue running a bar under his own nickname. Whether or not you buy the story, the bar itself is built for actual game-watching — more than 23 HD TVs, coverage of every major sports package, and heated, covered outdoor viewing for when the patio fills up.

Food runs an elevated gameday menu built on locally sourced ingredients, backed by a full drink program built for long afternoons in front of the TV.

For bigger groups, the Legends Lounge offers a sportsbook-style setup of its own: three 75-inch screens, banquette seating for 14, a private bar with its own TV and additional seating, and a standing rail for mingling — geared toward private events and group watch parties rather than a quick beer at the bar.
