Koshari takes its name from Egypt's national street food, and that's the anchor for what Amani and Ayman are cooking in this small, family-run space: Lebanese and Egyptian vegetarian dishes served in a room designed to be warm, alcohol-free, and comfortable for families.
Most dishes on the menu can be adapted vegan or gluten-free, and the vegan baklava — phyllo and nuts, made fresh in-house — has become a draw of its own. The restaurant also handles catering for private and corporate events.
Koshari opened in Seattle in 2023 as a family operation, and it's built a local following for its hospitality and its handmade sauces alongside the food itself.
