Brileys BBQ opened in Lake Forest Park in the summer of 2015, smoking brisket, baby back ribs, pulled pork, and pit beef in-house daily over cherry wood sourced from Eastern Washington. The kitchen calls its style "Northwest Barbecue," and the smoker is the backbone of the menu.
Beyond the meats, regulars order the Pulled Chicken Sandwich, Catfish Basket, Harry Stamper Sandwich, and Dorfman Platter, rounded out by house-made sauces, homemade sides, and a rotating selection of craft beer and wine.
The dining room looks out over the water and includes a large-screen TV for game watching. Locals treat it as something of a hidden gem, calling out the ribs and brisket along with the cornbread and hush puppies, and describing service as attentive and welcoming despite the occasional parking squeeze at the Bothell Way location.
Brileys marked ten years in business in 2025.
