The Spot
Savannah Seafood Shack takes Low Country Boil — the shrimp, sausage, potato, and corn boil traditionally served family-style along the Georgia and South Carolina coasts — and reworks it into a single-portion, order-at-the-counter format. Bags come out quickly, with an option for peeled and deveined shrimp for anyone who wants to skip the shells.

Christine Cutlip founded the counter-service spot on Broughton Street in the North Historic District. It has drawn attention beyond Savannah, with features on Food Network, Cooking Channel, and Travel Channel, including a segment on Cooking Channel's Cheap Eats.
